Small bright green
Leaves coruscate
In the breeze
And sunflakes settle
Softly on her face
The still, vibrant death
Of summer’s heat
Enfolds her
She is caressed by nature
The air bestows itself
On her skin
A wisp of hair moves
A limb stirs
Her thoughtful eyelids
Peacefully divide
One world from another
Containing one dream
Inside another.
